Well, Leonie has a lovely big smile on her face this morning! 😍
A HUGE congratulations to our amazing hair stylist, Leonie, who last night won the QSA award for Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year! So well-deserved, we’ve watched Leonie grow from a shy young Junior to an incredible Stylist who has a friendly and approachable manner. This too is a great testament to Nicola, Jane and Julie at Brothers Constantinou Training Academy, Cardiff.
“Leonie is an asset to our business, from her delightful attitude to her astounding creativity and ability. Training Leonie has restored my faith in youngsters choosing hairdressing as a serious career. Leonie brings a different skill set to the salon, with weaves, braids and Afro-Caribbean hair. Her attention to detail and artistic eye has clients leaving the salon thrilled and re-booking with her. Leonie is now undertaking her Level 3 Apprenticeship in Hairdressing having completed her Foundation Apprenticeship and is also showing a great enthusiasm to the barbering side of the industry.
From an early stage, Leonie has proved that she has the aptitude to work with clients from across the spectrum, including youngsters who are referred by The Little Princess Trust, clients who need wigs and those who use our private rooms for personal or cultural reasons.
Leonie is always on hand with a smile and willing to help colleagues and clients, whilst still ensuring the salon standards for cleanliness are on point.
From a salon perspective and many of our clients, the salon wouldn’t be the same without Leonie, she is a safe pair of hands that focuses on her training skills along with building a new clientele.”
says Melanie, Salon Manager at Simon Constantinou
Nicola, Assessor at Brothers Constantinou Training Academy tells us…
“Leonie is an enthusiastic student who always shows up on time, enjoys training, and has excellent communication skills.
Leonie completed all of her assessments to the highest standards, working above and beyond the skills that were requested of her. She is a popular member of Brothers Constantinou Training Academy with all of her peers and her friendly and approachable manner means she very quickly manages to build an excellent rapport with clients of all ages.
She is now working on her Level 3 Apprenticeship in Hairdressing, which she is on track to achieve earlier than planned. We are sure she will grow to be a great hairdresser and sure she is set to succeed in the industry.”
So proud of you, Leonie! ❤️
